New Zealand has been flying beneath the radar when it comes to musical output, yet for a country so small the level of talent is high.

High Hoops is particularly worthy of note, with a past that includes being signed to a major label as part of Kids of 88 he’s turned his attention to this solo project. This guy is incredibly talented and if 2014 isn’t a big year for him then there’s something wrong with the world.

London’s own Otik has been one to keep an eye on ever since dropping the impressive ‘Spill’ EP. Since then he’s been keeping us ticking over with a selection of new tracks and teasers, the latest of which is the minimal but extremely effective ‘Embed’.
